Introduction

 Welcome To LadyBlug! I am Chloe, the author and creator of LadyBlug. I was born in France, Paris and came to the us about 8 years ago with my family. At first when I came, I was in a French school, so I didn’t get to learn much English but then when I was put into a complete American school, I became bilingual. I am very creative in the digital realm, and I love writing. I am passionate about journalism and want to make it a future career. I decided to write a Blog to extend my creativity and learn more about digital media. I love watching movies, but my favorite genre would be horror movies. I find a fascination in the different ways film directors use to give you chills like suspense, jump scares, eerie atmosphere or even the unexpected twists and turns that keep me guessing until the end. The first time I've watched a horror movie I was in 6 grade it was the last day of school before Christmas break, my science teacher made us watch 47 meters down (2017) directed by Johannes Roberts. I really enjoyed this movie and started watching more and more horror movies after that day. My favorite horror movie author is Robert Kirkman who created the famous show, the walking dead. I admire him for his way of not being scared to try new things. He really surpassed us with the different plot twists and character developments of the walking dead. Many things have surprised the audience but not only is it an amazing show, but it is 11 seasons with each season having about 20 episodes! One problem I have with watching long shows is that I get too attached emotionally to characters. In the walking dead almost all main characters die, knowing it is a survival show about zombies. Another show I enjoy watching is Shameless. I have now been watching it for over two years and I am about to finish it. I really like this show because it reminds me of my family when I was little and the environment in my house. It was always chaotic because I have 5 siblings and at the time, I had a huge dog named Caramel, so I relate to the chaos happening in the show. I am probably one of the best person to ask for film recommendations and I guarantee you will never have a longer conversation about movies with someone else than me!
