No title are being shown in the beginning clip of the film.
2.what images are prioritized in the opening sequence?
In the beginning scene, you first see a woman talking on TV presenting the current info of the world, explaining a pandemic of a new virus that would make p0eople act like zombies and have weird ways of acting that are inhuman. The people attacked by the virus would have no more self manners and way of speaking nor acting. After a couple of seconds, the screen switched to 3 years later, where you see an empty and chaotic looking city.
3.what connotations do the images carry?
In the start of the scene the woman speaking has so9me kind of glitchy filter on her letting us know we are watching her from Tv screen. There is a blue background behind her which is the same background town in most info channel. 5. How does the film establish an enigma [mystery] from the outset?
The transition between the tv channel ands the empty city lets us guess what could've happened during this time period where everything was start5ing to where complete chaos has occurred.
